**Distributions fitted by BDK and RDK**

**Question:**

Can the RDK fit distributions? Which ones?

**Response:**

The BDK ships as part of the RDK, so the RDK has the same capacity to fit distributions as the BDK.

The BDK or RDK can not fit to all of the distributions that the RDK can use in a simulation. The following continuous distributions can be fitted:

- Beta general
- Chi-squared
- Erf (error function)
- Erlang
- Exponential
- Extreme value
- Gamma
- Inverse Gause
- Logistic
- Log-logistic
- Log-normal (both forms)
- Normal
- Pareto (both forms)
- Pearson 5 and 6
- Rayleigh
- Student's t
- Triangular
- Uniform
- Weibull

The following discrete distributions can be fitted:

- Binomial
- Geometric
- Hypergeometric
- Integer uniform
- Negative binomial
- Poisson
